Bite to break skin.

Hi lovelies, another outfit post to share today! I've had this dress for a couple of weeks now and have been super excited to get pictures of it as I really love it. I made a Missguided order where I picked up this dress and a burgundy velvet skirt (couldn't resist, it had to be done) as well as a top that went back. I've since been eyeing this studded plaid skirt too, but that's another story, as today's post is all about me and my blackwatch tartan.

Dress - Missguided
Tights - New Look
Lace socks - Topshop
Creepers - gift

The dress has a leather-look collar which I really love (I'm not usually one to button things up but with this it looks deliberately stylish as well as keeping me warm, bonus.) The dress came with a belt but the studs were gold and all of my jewellery is silver so I swapped it for one of my own.

I picked up these tights at New Look last year but they seem to have the exact same ones online again - I definitely recommend them, they're surprisingly warm despite being crochet and they are so comfortable! Ankle socks and creepers help keep the heat in too. They look a bit strange to me in these pictures, but I thought they looked cute in reality, what do you think? Find this outfit on Lookbook here...

Are you a fan of this dress? I'm off to see Les Miserables at the cinema today, and though we don't have snow it's so cold that I'm going to be layering up like a cocoon! Have you got snow where you are?

PS. I've heard that Lookbook has been causing problems on some computers and Google is blocking my blog because the Lookbook app might contain malware. I've not heard of this before but could you let me know whether this happens to you, as if so I'll stop embedding them into my posts? It would be much appreciated!

  1. Oh I have those tights but in green from this year and mustard and plum ones from last year I think. I love them.
I'm not having any problems with your blog on Firefox, and I love the leather collar detail.

It was snowing like wild the other day. Now it's sunny. The weather in my city is all over the place!
