Hi lovelies, today I have lots of exciting news to share, but first I wanted to kick off with the obligatory 'outfit in the snow' - unfortunately it seems that our garden can never look attractive even under the most liberal dosing of the white stuff, but there we have it! I must admit, I'm still in a state of shock that we had any snow at all, as it's the first snow I've had here since starting university. Exciting!
Hat - Topshop
Cardigan - Topshop
Cross - Miss Selfridge
Tunic - Topshop
Socks - Primark
Dr Martens - Cloggs
A candid snap, but I love that you can see the snow falling! Apologies, this is one of those outfits where none of the items are online any more, though I've seen the hat and cardigan in Topshop recently so it's worth a look. The cardigan was reduced to £20 in the sale, and that's before student discount, so I feel I paid a fair price for this awesome spiky affair. The tunic I've had for ages and I've featured it twice before in outfit posts, but it's a firm favourite and it seems silly not to wear your favourite things just because they've been seen before. The cross was in the Miss Selfridge sale for £3.50 and has stolen the award for 'longest necklace I own.' Finally, I am so ridiculously glad that I bought these Dr Martens last year. They are the industrial kind, making them amazing in this snowy weather, though I am still in the process of breaking them in! It is worth it with Dr Martens, though - when they are broken in there is no doubt that they are the comfiest, most practical things you can have on your feet. Find this outfit on Lookbook here...
Oh, and now for the exciting stuff! I have reached 250 followers, so I will be launching my blog giveaway shortly. Stay tuned!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much! It's up now so stop by! :) xxx
DeleteYou're such a cutie. I love your hair here! ^_^ We haven't had any snow yet but I'm secretly glad as my driveway is a big hill and my car is puny. Congratulations on your 250 followers! I've been blogging for 4 years and have a fraction of that so you have done really, really well! <3
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! It's all mine too lol. Yeah I can imagine that would be an utter nightmare in the snow, fingers crossed you don't get any (or if you do, that you don't get any at a time when you need to leave the house haha!) Thanks so much, sometimes it feels a small achievement in comparison to those who started blogging around the same time as me but for me it's really not about the numbers, it's more about building these kind of friendships with likeminded people, I love that xxx

Deleteyou look so cosy, especially in that oversized beanie, love it! As the whole 'I've worn this before' thing, I reckon, you should wear what you love, and it doesn't matter if you've blogged it before! You have a new follower right here x
ReplyDeleteI must admit I was super cosy in this! My favourite outfits mix comfort and style haha. I'm really glad that you agree that wearing things again is okay! Thanks so much for following sweetie xxx
DeleteI love this outfit, but weren't you freezing? I really love the cardigan and hat. Can't get enough of that colour. Totally jealous of your DMs, too- I really want a pair!
ReplyDeleteI've just returned home to about a foot of snow; all the snow at my sister's washed away in the rain by Tues. Absolutely love it.
Oh, and congrats on reaching 250 followers!! So deserved. xx
Well, this was what I was wearing that day, I snapped pictures of it quickly without my coat and then adopted my parka to build my snowman and snowdog haha. Same I've just returned home to snow too! I went home from uni for a few days and went from a normal, dreary Southampton to loads of fluffy white snow! Looove! And thanks so much Louise! xxx
