It is a glitter cream palette that comes in loads of colourways. I picked 'One Night in Luxy' (the darkest palette) because it had lots of blacks and greys which is suited to the type of makeup I wear on a night out, which is one of the occasions I'd be most likely to wear glitter. However, though all the shades individually are very pretty if I were to buy this product again I would probably buy a palette with more highlight shades as the dark colours are very subtle and quite similar. As the shades can be used on eyes, cheeks and lips, the palettes with lighter colours would be more versatile if you're looking for a palette that can have multiple uses.
This is how my palette looks - well used, but still not even close to running out! You don't need to be heavy handed with this product. The gold shade is the one I've used most, I like wearing it in the inner corners of the eye to add a bit of sparkle to an otherwise everyday look. The darker shades only look right over dark eyeshadow or liner, but they are very pretty.
The palette comes with applicators but I find that it's much easier to pick up the glitter using a finger - I use my ring or little finger, gently run it over the shade I want, and dab it on top of my otherwise-finished eye makeup. The glitter stays well (in fact, I'll sometimes find it on my pillow for a few days afterwards!)
Originally I bought the palette at River Island but they don't seem to stock it any more, however you can buy it online at the NYX store. If you can't decide on a colour, they also sell a giant glitter palette that contains 21 shades of glitter! If you're a bit of a magpie when it comes to glitter and colour that would definitely be a good investment... for now I'll be sticking to this little palette!
Have you ever tried NYX cosmetics?
