Nothing can stop me now..

Hey lovelies, just a quick post to share some of the illustration I've been working on lately. It feels like a long time since I've posted anything because we've had to work on a lot of storyboards and ideas rather than finalised images, plus any commissions I've had have been more personal ones that I don't like to share on here, i.e. couples portraits for Valentine's day, portraits of children, etc. However, today I have a few sketchbook pages to share with you - I hope you'll like them!

I've been working scanning in textures, using a little collage, and mixing various mediums to create these. They need to be even darker than this and the sketches took me very little time - much more care will go into my final pieces - but I think these are good indications of the direction my project will be going in. Do tell me what you think (really, I welcome constructive criticism provided it is constructive!) but please don't re-use these images without my permission. They're all on my Facebook illustration page which you can check out here, and please contact me on there if you'd like a drawing done.

I hope your Thursday is going well - it's nearly the weekend, thank goodness - not that I'll be relaxing much in the daytimes as I need to keep on working like crazy on this project! Have you got anything nice planned?
