She wears high heels, I wear sneakers...

Hi guys, I have just a little wishlist post today because I'm off to visit my best friend at her uni in Canterbury! I'm really excited as I haven't visited her since her first year (she's now in her third and final year) and last time we visited we came home with a tattoo - I'm placing no bets on what could happen this time..! I will be bringing my sketchbook with me - being a student it isn't all play, unfortunately - but I suppose I'm lucky to be studying something I love and don't think of as a chore!

Anyway, lately I have shoes on the brain. It's going to be spring soon and I'm getting a bit bored of stomping around in my Dr Martens like I have all winter, but it's not quite warm enough for ballet flats either. I had been eyeing up some white Converse which are up there on my summer wishlist, but I also found these Superdry flats on sale and really like the colour - more dirt-proof than white, which is good for a girl like me that just can't seem to avoid a muddy puddle, but the same style of classic sneaker.

Also, having spent too much time last night trying to decide which pair of going out shoes I should bring to Canterbury with me (from my ridiculously oversized collection of near-identical black heels) I've reached a conclusion that I need something a little different in my life. Something a little like these glittery Vivienne Westwood heels...

They're a classic shape with a sturdy heel but covered in glitter - I am utterly in love with them and if I wasn't already planning on spending a bomb on train tickets and cocktails this week these would be the best Valentine's day present to myself. But if anyone's looking for a sure way to be my Valentine, then these are a good place to start... just sayin'!
